individual
therapy
I support teens, young adults, and individuals navigating emotional overwhelm, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, self-worth concerns, and disordered eating.
My work is strongly rooted in attachment theory—helping clients explore how early relationships and core beliefs shape the way we show up in the world today. I aim to support clients in building healthier connections, setting boundaries, and fostering a deeper sense of security in themselves and their relationships.

EMDR
Sometimes, experiences from the past can continue to show up in the present, shaping how we feel, think, and relate to others. EMDR helps you gently process what you've been carrying so the past can feel less present and you can feel more connected to yourself, your relationships, and the life you're building.
Together, we’ll work at your pace to help you feel more grounded, make sense of your experiences, and create space for new ways of moving forward.
Premarital Therapy
Premarital therapy is about more than preparing for a wedding. It’s a chance to better understand how you each experience love, communicate, navigate conflict, and feel supported. We’ll explore the experiences and family dynamics that have shaped you, the patterns you bring into your relationship, and how to navigate differences in a way that brings you closer rather than further apart.
Using the PREPARE/ENRICH assessment as a starting point, I’ll tailor our sessions to your relationship, helping you build on your strengths, have meaningful conversations, and feel more understood and connected as you move into this next chapter together.

about
Morgan Liptak, LMFT
owner/therapist
I created Phases Therapy Co. out of genuine passion for mental health. I often reflect on the many phases I've moved through, the ones that brought growth and excitement, and the ones that felt uncertain, overwhelming, or difficult to make sense of. In those harder seasons, it isn't always easy to understand why we're there, how to move forward, or sometimes how to hold onto hope.
Looking back, I'm reminded that one of the most important parts of moving through life's challenges is having support along the way. My hope is to offer a space where you feel supported, understood, and welcomed exactly as you are, whatever phase you're in.
My approach combines genuine support with honest feedback. This often looks like providing plenty of compassion to feel safe, while also being direct when needed to help you grow. We'll work together to identify what's keeping you stuck and build the confidence and skills to move forward. I draw from EMDR, CBT, DBT, and attachment-based approaches, tailoring our work to your experiences and goals rather than following a one-size-fits-all formula.

I am a private-pay therapist and do not accept insurance. If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement vary by plan, so I recommend contacting your insurance provider to determine whether your plan offers out-of-network mental health benefits.

Therapy is personal, and the relationship matters. I know from personal experience that finding the right therapist can take time. Sometimes there’s no perfect way to know before you begin. Ultimately, I want you to feel comfortable being honest, asking questions, and showing up as yourself. If you're considering working together, you’re welcome to reach out before scheduling if you want to know more about what our work together might look like.

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We'll talk about what's been going on, some of the experiences that have shaped you, and what you'd like to be different. Don’t worry, this isn’t the time to dive deep. We’ll get there at a pace that’s comfortable for you :)
You don't need to prepare a perfect explanation or know exactly what you need before you come in. I'll guide the conversation, answer any questions you have, and we'll begin figuring out together what support might be most helpful.
